Cast iron flanges machined in Canada and initially offering 2 types of insert elements in EPDM & Hytrel, also Canadian-made – Maska has added another top quality part to our product line.

Attention has been given to producing a precise concentrical product to avoid run-out and an unbalanced drive.  Currently available in sizes 3-10, with sizes 11-13 soon to come, with J & S flanges bored to size and B flanges that fit with our QD bushings.

This particular coupling has 4-way flexing action, does not require lubrication or special tools to install and delivers a quiet, smooth power transmission.

manufacturers that utilize gray cast iron.

Following remarks submitted by some customers on breakage of gray cast iron bushings, Maska took the initiative of manufacturing these parts in the stronger alloy
for greater strength.

And did you know that most sizes have a set screw over the keyway to secure
the key, which is most helpful in vertical applications?

Maska is a V-belt pulley manufacturer and our product line consists of: industrial sheaves, also referred to as v-belt pulleys, QD and Taper lock bushings, flexible shaft couplings for power transmission such as elastomeric couplings and jaw type or spider couplings, V-belts and synchronous belts, industrial synchronous timing pulleys, HTD sprockets mounted with QD bushings, large pulleys up to 71”, QD type weld on hubs, XT bushings & XT hubs, v-belt stepped pulleys and short type QD bushings.

Manufacturing three types of couplings, such as flexible light duty shaft couplings in the elastomeric style called by our name “Maska-flex”, jaw type or spider couplings with 4 components entitled “Maska Star-flex” and our new “4-flex” coupling the match for sure-flex couplings.

Our v-belt industrial sheaves meet MPTA standards and our high quality castings machined to precision produce products that you can depend on. These include large pulleys, groove v-belt pulleys, metric timing pulleys, qd & taper lock bushings, synchronous timing pulleys, large HTD qd sprockets, and shaft couplings like flexible or light duty flexible shaft couplings.

Our synchronous timing pulleys, including metric timing pulleys, are available from .61 to 19.09 inches and our HTD QD sprockets from 2.35 to 37.89 inches. Our standard groove v-belt pulleys or industrial sheaves are available in 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 grooves, small and large bores such as 1/2" and 5/8” and from 1.5” to 71” in diameter for large pulley applications such as mud pumps and rock crushers.
